With most Council rounds closed and Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) outcomes not due until 2027, Stronger Communities Programme Round 10 is one of the best opportunities currently open for clubs and community groups.
The program offers up to $20,000 for small capital projects such as equipment, facility upgrades and fit-outs. It runs through federal electorates, and each local MP's office sets its own EOI deadline.
Sunshine Coast EOI deadlines
- Wide Bay (Noosa and north) - EOIs close 2 November 2026
- Fisher and Fairfax - EOIs close 13 November 2026
If your club is in another electorate, check with your local federal MP's office for their dates.
Choosing the right project
The question we hear most from clubs is which project to put forward. Many committees have a long wish list, and it can be hard to agree on one project in the time available. The project you choose makes a big difference to how competitive your EOI will be.
30 minute project scoping session
To help clubs decide before the deadlines, we're offering a 30 minute project scoping session via Microsoft Teams for $100 + GST. In the session we'll:
- Work through your project options
- Check eligibility against the program guidelines
- Confirm what you'll need, such as quotes and supporting documents
- Help you settle on the project with the strongest case
Clubs often come away with a clearer picture of their grant options for the next six months too.
Cost
If you go ahead with the EOI, the $100 + GST session fee is included in our EOI writing fee of $400 + GST. That's $400 + GST all up for a shot at up to $20,000 for your club.
How to book
Email info@successfulgrants.com.au to book. We'll send you a few questions beforehand so we can make the most of the 30 minutes.
To leave time for writing, bookings close:
- Wide Bay - Friday 30 October 2026
- Fisher and Fairfax - Friday 6 November 2026
